The Scoop is Lenox’s hometown joint.  It’s a specialty ice cream shop, serving SoCo Creamery products and a family restaurant that serves breakfast all day long in the heart of the Berkshires.  The Scoop is a throw-back to the ice cream parlors found in the area years ago, but  with a modern, comfortable feel that makes folks just want to “hang out”  there all day.

SoCo Creamery is a micro-creamery (small batch ice cream method), based in the Berkshires of western Mass. The ultra-premium ice creams are based on a twenty year tradition of excellence and mastery.   SoCo Creamery  also produces sorbets and SoCo Gelato(italian style ice cream).   SoCo creamery proudly uses many local suppliers when creating our many tasty products.

The Scoop is owned by local Berkshire resident Jenn Nacht.  Before purchasing The Scoop, Jenn Nacht had been working as freelance consultant specializing in the development of strategic marketing and business plans for local start ups.  She spent much of her career working in television in Washington D.C. and New York, before returning to the Berkshires.  In her last corporate position, Jenn worked at World Wrestling Entertainment in Stamford, CT as the Director of TV Marketing.  Jenn graduated with an MS in Communication and an MBA from Boston University. She attended Syracuse University as an undergraduate and received a BA in Political Science with a minor in Environmental Studies.  Jenn loves being back in the Berkshires, as she was a resident of Stockbridge for many years and graduated from Monument Mountain Regional High School.  She lives in New Marlborough with her two young children, Olivia and Jace and her husband Jonathan, who is a dentist in Great Barrington.
